Fishing
Clearwater is the premier bass lake of central Minnesota and host to
several catch and release bass tournaments throughout the summer. Panfish
abound. Because the resort is located on an isthmus, shore fishing is a great
low investment activity for both kids and adults.
For the serious angler the three thousand acres of Clearwater also provide excellent habitat for the wily walleye and the noble northern. According to the monitoring report of Wenck Associates, the
secchi disk transparency for summer 2000 averaged 7.2 feet in Clearwater Lake.
